March 14 – Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival – Los Angeles

Come to the Echo Park Film Center for a night filled with science fiction shorts.

March 15 – Time Out LA’s Comics to Watch LIVE – Los Angeles

See the funniest people in Los Angeles in a laughter-filled evening.  

March 15 to 17 – Cherry Blossom Festival – Huntington Beach

Take part in a daylong celebration of Japanese culture featuring performances, food, and music.

March 16 and 17 – L.A. Nature Fest – Los Angeles

The Natural History Museum is hosting a festival dedicated to wildlife in Los Angeles. There will be booths, crafts, scientists, and performances.

March 22 and 23 – Beyond Wonderland – San Bernardino

Alice in Wonderland meets electronic dance music.

March 23 – 2019 Claremont Pie Festival – Claremont

Featuring demos, baking contests, booths, and a pie tasting buffet, the Claremont Pie Festival will surely satisfy any sweet tooth.

March 27 – Women in Science author talk– Glendale

Stop by Downtown Central Library to spend the evening with Rachel Ignotofsky, author of the critically-acclaimed book Women in Science.

March 29 to April 28 – Knott’s Boysenberry Festival – Buena Park

Did you know that the boysenberry originates from Southern California? Get a taste of this hybrid fruit at Knott’s Berry Farm.

March 21 to 31 – WonderCon – Anaheim

Imagine Comic-Con but next to Disneyland.

Week of March 31

April 5 – First Fridays at the Natural History Museum – Los Angeles

On the first Friday of every month, the Natural History Museum hosts an evening of music at the museum.

April 5 – Monterey Jazz Festival – Los Angeles

Featuring a diverse, international roster of jazz’s future leaders, the Monterey Jazz Festival will be performing at the Walt Disney Concert Hall as part of their 60th anniversary national tour.  

April 6 – Coastal Country Jam – Huntington Beach

Country music and a sunny California Beach. Name a more iconic duo. Big names such as Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Dylan Scott will be performing throughout the nine-hour long beachfront festival.

April 27 – Taste of Claremont 2019 – Claremont

Sponsored by the Claremont Rotary Foundation, the 20th Annual Taste of Claremont brings together local restaurants, wineries, and breweries for a night of charity.

April 27 – Cirque Du Soleil – Los Angeles

Witness amazing aerial acts underneath the Grand Chapiteau as Cirque du Soleil performs Amaluna.

The annual airshow is commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings.

May 7 – An Evening with Melinda Gates – Los Angeles

Melinda Gates will be discussing her new book The Moment of Lift: How Empowering Women Changes the World. All proceeds from her book will go towards charity.
